BEGINNER

Objective: To establish proper violin technique and posture, introduce note reading in first position, and develop foundational bowing, rhythm, and musical awareness through structured exercises and theory.

  • Posture and Bow hold, Left-hand position

INTERMEDIATE

Objective: To deepen tone quality, enhance musical expression, and develop advanced techniques such as shifting, vibrato, and double stops while expanding scale knowledge and bowing styles.

ADVANCED

Objective: To master expressive control and technical versatility through advanced bowing techniques, complex rhythms, extended positions, and repertoire spanning multiple musical periods, preparing students for high-level performances or examinations.

  • Varied pressure, speed, and sounding point

  • Introduction to different musical periods

  • Chords and Multiple Stops

  • Positions up to the 7th

  • Advanced bowings: sautillé, collé, ricochet

  • Complex rhythms, phrasing, ornamentation

  • 3-octave scales & arpeggios with varied bowing

ADULT PROGRAMME
